For NIO, we wanted to create more than just a video: we wanted a visual manifesto of vision, architecture, and meaning. The goal was a multifunctional concept that honors the rich history of this monumental building in Amsterdam. The seven floors of NIO House are carefully designed according to the four core values of the brand: pure, human, refined, and progressive.

But NIO House is not a showroom — it is a place where experience, encounter, and brand identity come together. The video we developed for this needed to capture that exactly.

The challenge Time, pressure, and still remain true

The biggest challenge was the extreme time pressure. Construction, furnishing, and communication happened at a high pace — with numerous departments and external parties coordinating simultaneously. As the deadlines approached, we adhered to the original concept, which was refined multiple times along the way.

The period between opening and delivery required speed, flexibility, and vision. By working thoughtfully and staying on top of things, all elements eventually came together exactly as intended.

Final Thought From local project to global story

The video immediately found its place: as a powerful opening moment during the launch of NIO House Amsterdam. Internally, it was used to clarify the process and the choices, externally to make the vision tangible.

What started as a project in Amsterdam grew into an international example. The video was shared by NIO Global — as proof of what is possible when you hold on to vision, even under pressure.
