Calverdam is a perfume brand developed by two brothers, Zakaria and Ziad Aboukhlal. Inspired by their father, created for an audience that wants to get the most out of themselves.

We brought the entire start of the brand visually to life with a powerful launch campaign, a strategic social media plan, and a clear positioning.

In a short period of time, we achieved a launch that reached over 400,000 people all with a recognizable and unique identity.

We had little time and had to be quick in adapting to the possibilities that were available. Still, we managed to set up a complete launch campaign in just three weeks: a campaign film, a one-month feed plan leading up to the launch event, and an opening film for the evening itself.

In addition, we provided a dynamic photography series – consisting of studio images, behind-the-scenes of the brand, and powerful lifestyle photography.

The goal was to give Calverdam a strong brand value and identity this is not just the next perfume brand, but a story with character, vision, and soul.

We have certainly achieved that goal. You can see that people feel connected to the brand. In just three weeks, the Instagram account grew from 0 to 1,423 followers. There are regular reposts and organic posts from people who identify with the brand – and simply find it 'cool'.

Calverdam is not standing still. Even after the launch, we continue to build campaigns and visual content to further strengthen the brand and realize their ambitions together.

The creation of a full-fledged page that radiates what the brand stands for.

That was our goal when we continued to work on the social media page of Calverdam after the promotional film. As there was a targeted strategy being worked on simultaneously, we temporarily took full control of the platform. We did not set any grand strategic goals, but it was essential to create a fully functional page during the launch. A page where the target audience enters and immediately understands who they are dealing with.

Moreover, we live in a rapidly changing world where even as a startup, you have the chance to make your brand explode. For many, this is a unique opportunity — but also a pitfall. Because the question is not only what you do, but especially whether it is sustainable. We firmly believe that when you stay close to your own DNA and vision, it may take a little longer to get to where you want to be — but ultimately, you will always get further. We did it exactly this way with Calverdam.
